How can I make reservations for a campsite at an Ohio State Park?
The Ohio Parks now take reservations for campsites. For campsite reservations, please phone 1.866.OHIOPARKS.

Do any rooms or cabins have hot tubs or fireplaces?
Three of our lodges have hot tubs in their cabins; Salt Fork, Shawnee and Maumee Bay. Salt Fork's lakeside chalets are equipped with fireplaces, hot tubs, central air conditioning, and fully furnished kitchens and are situated in a beautiful lakeside setting. Shawnee's Jacuzzi cabins also feature a hot tub, fully furnished kitchens, and central air conditioning. Maumee Bay's 4-bedroom cottages can accommodate up to 13 people and are furnished with gas fireplaces, dishwasher, washer and dryer, and central air.
Cabins in a number of our parks have fireplaces, including Hueston Woods, Maumee Bay, Punderson Manor, Salt Fork and Shawnee.
Hueston Woods offers a lovely two-room luxury suite with a whirlpool tub. Punderson Manor offers a recently renovated two-room suite with whirlpool tub and gas fireplace.
Are pets allowed at any of the parks?
Each lodge has limited cottages that are designated "pet friendly." If you plan on bringing your pet, please advise the reservation agent when making your reservation at 1-800-AT-A-PARK (282-7275) prior to your arrival so that they can make arrangements for you. Pets are not permitted in any lodge rooms or cottages not designated at "pet friendly." All assistance dogs for visually or hearing impaired or orthopedically challenged individuals are permitted in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1991.
Can I make dining reservations for an Ohio State Park Lodge?
Some of our lodges do recommend reservations for all meals, while others do not take them except for holiday buffets. All parks do recommend reservations for Easter, Mother's Day, and Thanksgiving, even if you have an overnight reservation. You can usually make your reservation 1 month prior to the holiday. When calling to make dining reservations or to check if reservations are needed, please call the lodge of your choice directly. We are unable to take dining reservations through 1.800.AT.A.PARK.
Do any parks have a honeymoon suite?
While none of our parks have a specific honeymoon suite, two parks are especially suited for a romantic getaway. Punderson Manor's two-room suite is in the original section of the manor house and features a bedroom with a king size bed and a beautifully appointed sitting room and it also offers a whirlpool tub and gas fireplace. Hueston Woods' newly created suite also has two rooms and features a king size bed, big screen TV and VCR, whirlpool bath, and treadmill.
Can I check-in to my room or cabin early?
Although we try to accommodate your requests for an early check-in, it's not always possible, depending on how full the lodge or cabins were the night before and how quickly our guests check out in the morning.
While we certainly want to have a room or cabin waiting for every guest that arrives, we also want to make sure your room is clean, the lights work, and the doors don't squeak. Our housekeeping and maintenance staffs have high standards to adhere to, whether they have one room to clean or one hundred.
Our reservation center will be happy to note a request for early check-in on your reservation; however, we cannot guarantee such requests. It's a good idea to call the lodge the evening before or the morning of your arrival to see if they can give you an idea of how early you can check-in.
Can I check-out of my room or cabin late?
We're glad you want to linger at our parks for a while, but we can't always allow you to linger in your room! Most parks will have no problem giving you an extra hour if they're not sold out and don't need your room. We do ask you to be considerate of guests checking in behind you who don't want to wait for their room to be ready. Please check with the front desk the morning of your departure to see if a late check-out is possible.
